Florence Griffith Joyner’s 33-year-old Olympic record in the women’s 100 meters was broken by Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson-Herah. Flo Jo still holds the world record in the 100 meters however.
Noah Lyles is a professional track and field athlete representing the USA in the sprints. He is the current world champion in the 200 meters. He has personal bests of 9.86 seconds for the 100 meters and 19.50 seconds for the 200 meters .
