Mo Farah is a British long distance runner to watch out for in 2012. Mo Farah was born on March 23, 1983. He is currently listed at 5′ 9″ and 143 lbs.and was born in Somalia. This long distance track and field star athlete specializes in the men’s 5,000m and 10,000m races.

Mo Farah is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch in London, England. Farah holds the European track record for 10,000 meters, the British road record for 10,000 meters, the British indoor record in the 3000 meters, the British track record for 5000 meters, the British half-marathon record, and the European indoor record for 5000 meters.

2012 Olympic Athletes to Watch: Oscar Pistorius

Oscar Pistorius is a South African sprinter to watch out for in 2012. Oscar Pistorius was born on November 22, 1986 and also known as the Blade Runner. He is listed at 6′ 1″ and 177 lbs in prosthetics. Despite having double amputation of his legs, Pistorius is famous for competing in international competitions against able-bodied athletes. This track and field star athlete specializes in the men’s 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints.

Oscar Pistorius is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch in London, England. Oscar Pistorius, also known as the “Blade Runner“, has raised controversy by being allowed to compete against able bodied athletes in the 2012 Olympics. Pistorius will be competing in the men’s 400m at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Usain Bolt is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch in London, England. Bolt holds the world records on the the men’s 100m and 200m. Bolt won gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and 4 x 100m relay events in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a Jamaican sprinter to watch out for in 2012. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was born on December 27, 1986. He is listed at 5′ 3″ and 110 lbs. This track and field star athlete specializes in the women’s 100m dash.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. Fraser-Pryce won a gold medal in the 2008 Olympics and took first place in the Jamaican Olympic trials this year. In the 2008 Olympics, she became the first Jamaican woman in history to win an Olympic gold medal in the 100m sprint.
