Long jumpers are always looking for advice and tips to increase the distance of their long jumps. What better person to get long jumping tips and advice from than Mike Powell? Mike Powell holds the world record in the long jump with a whopping leap measuring 8.95 meters (29 feet, 4½ inches).

The Legendary Jesse Owens – 1936 Olympics 100m final

Jesse Owens is a famous and legendary track and field sprinter who won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympics. Jesse Owens won gold medals in the 100 meters, the 200 meters, the long jump, and as part of the 4×100 meter relay team. During a period of extreme racism, Jesse Owens not achieved victory but was the most successful athlete at the 1936 Olympic Games.
